Neopharm Group is committed to the wellbeing of the community and environment we live in. We fulfill this commitment by contributing substantial amounts to specified areas and through actively providing the framework for employee volunteering. The Group’s commitment to the community, includes; employment diversity, compliance to labor and social laws, advancing equality in employment, and employment of the disabled.
Neopharm Group partners with AKIM (The Israel National Association for the Advancement of the Mentally Handicapped), and supports a residence for youth (including; granting student scholarships, supporting academic research and organizations that assist those in need suffering from health issues).
The group’s flagship social project is designed to integrate special needs employees into the workforce. Neopharm Group has received the AKIM prize from Israel’s president Shimon Peres recognizing the importance and vast effect of the project on the lives of employees.
Other projects include a youth village with over 200 youth from troubled homes where Neopharm Group employees volunteer as mentors to encourage these children to engage in activities, study hard and become empowered by their own ideas. Neopharm Group employees take part in the day to day lives of the students by sharing activities such as sports, studying, and celebrating life events and holidays.
In the field of academic education and research, Neopharm Group annually provides 20 students full scholarships to the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel’s leading private college. Additionally, the group donates medical equipment to the biology and biotechnology labs at Bar Ilan University to help further ongoing research.
